Individuals eligible for a Student Savings Account are: 1. enrolled full-time at a. an elementary school, b. a secondary school, c. a post-secondary school; and 2. single or married (if both individuals meet the eligibility requirements of item number 1 above).
It is the responsibility of the account holder(s) to notify the bank whenever they no longer meet the eligibility requirements for a Student Savings Account as listed above. When the account holder(s) no longer meets the eligibility requirements for a Student Savings Account as listed above, the account must be converted to another type of account, for which the account holder(s) is eligible.
